Deryl Dean Fox, known to many as Dean, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024, at the age of 71. He was born on November 13, 1952, in Fairbury, NE, where he lived his entire life.

Dean had a passion for life and cherished the time spent with his family and friends. He was a devoted husband to Susan Christlieb, and they shared many years of love and companionship since their marriage on May 29, 1982.

Dean's love for his family extended to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Sherri (Roger) Davis, and his son, Justin (Jillian) Fox of Seattle, WA. His grandchildren, Erison, Braden, Westen, Barrett, and Finnegan, were the apple of his eye, bringing him immeasurable joy. Additionally, Dean adored his great-grandchildren, Daniel and Liam.

Professionally, Dean had a successful career as a school teacher and later became the proud owner of Fox Interior and Exterior Painting. He took great pride in his work and always strived for excellence.

In his free time, Dean enjoyed pursuing his hobbies, which included golfing, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Golfing, in particular, was a sport he was passionate about, and he formed a deep bond with his golfing partner and friend of over 40 years, Mike Beachler. They participated in numerous leagues and tournaments, creating lasting memories together.

Dean will be dearly missed by his siblings, Pam Watson and Donovan Fox, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sandra Mees and Deryl Fox, as well as his sister, Theresa.

A celebration of Dean's life will take place on Friday, May 24th, at the Fairbury VFW, starting at 4:00 PM. It will be a time for family and friends to come together, share stories, and remember the wonderful person Dean was.

Dean will forever be remembered for his love for his family, his infectious laughter, and his passion for golf. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
