FAIRBURY, Neb. -- Crystal Springs Campground is ready for play as its new play-set has arrived.

"The new equipment was assembled throughout the last two weeks and has been finished," Fairbury Mayor Spencer Brown said.

The equipment features a rock climbing wall, multiple slides, monkey bars and more.

Brown said a push for grant money was a big part of what allowed for the upgrade to happen.

Brown thanks Laura Bedlan, who was a big help with going through grant dollars, Anthony Biehl, who managed the work through the weekend and Miguel and Daniel. He said they powered through the weekend weather to finish on time.

The park was completed Tuesday and is now ready for play at Crystal Springs Campground.
