SCC to increase tuition and student activities fees by $1 for 2024-2025 academic year
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Southeast Community College Board of Governors approved a $1 per credit hour increase in the tuition rate and a $1 per credit hour increase in student activities fee for the 2024-2025 academic year during its monthly meeting on Tuesday.
Beginning in August, Nebraska residents will pay $105 per credit hour in tuition and $18 per credit hour in fees for a total of $123 per credit hour. The student activities fee will be $4 per credit hour, while the facility fee will remain at $14 per credit hour.
Additionally, non-resident rates also increased by $2, which means those students will pay $126 per credit hour in tuition and $18 per credit hour in fees for a total of $144 per credit hour.
During the meeting, the Board also approved room and board rates for the 2024-2025 academic year.
SCC said Great Western Dining will continue to provide food service on the Beatrice, Lincoln and Milford campuses.
