BEATRICE – New logo and mascot…..new home floor.

Southeast Community College….now going by the name Bobcats…..split a men’s-women’s double-header Tuesday night against Northeast Community College, of Norfolk.   The games were played at SCC’s new home floor on the Lincoln Campus.  Southeast men’s and women’s teams formerly played at the Truman Center, on the Beatrice Campus of the school.

The Northeast men defeated Southeast, 73 to 66.  Northeast was led by 16 points each from Mat Tut and Jacob Martin.  Southeast got 14 points from Collin Tarver and 13 points and 11 rebounds from Jaden Jenkins.

The Southeast Community College women defeated Northeast, 69 to 52.  The Lady Bobcats were led by Matalynn Campbell, with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.  Carney Black added 17 points and 16 rebounds.  SCC got 9 points and 10 boards from Callie Cooper.

The Northeast women were led by Allison Richards, with 20 points.  Stevi Fallis added 13 points.
