Andrew W. Patrick, 80, of Wymore, Nebraska, died Sunday afternoon, November 19, 2023 at his home. He was born on November 2, 1943 at Delano, CA and graduated from Woodlake High School in Woodlake, CA in 1962. He served two tours in Vietnam with the U.S. Army from 1966 until 1968. On October 2, 1970 he married Cheryl L. Brown in Visalia, California and they lived in California until 2004 when they moved to Laramie, WY, Indiana, and Montana, before settling in Wymore in 2021. He was a truck driver for many years. Andrew was a former member of Snowy Range Baptist Church in Laramie. He was a avid hunter, fisherman and never met a stranger, loved to visit, had a good sense of humor, and enjoyed playing a joke now and then.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Patrick of Wymore; daughter, Billie (Dave) Crowe; son, Dewey Patrick; two granddaughters, Shelby Crowe and Lacey Patrick; two grandsons, Eli Crowe and Dewey (Gabby) Patrick; two great-grandchildren, Beau Patrick and June Patrick; sister-in-law, Sandy Crawford; 15 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; lifelong best friend, Larry Dale King. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Nettie (Slusher) Patrick; two brothers, Alton Patrick and Paul Patrick; two sisters, Lois Valentine and Betty Jo Dickard; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
