Lincoln man dies in single-vehicle accident
A 54-year-old Lincoln man died after a single-vehicle accident over the weekend.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 54-year-old Lincoln man died after a single-vehicle accident over the weekend.
The Lincoln Police Department said they responded to an accident just before 7 p.m. on Saturday, where Chad Bright died at the scene.
According to authorities, when Bright turned from Saunders onto N 11th, his pickup went up onto the median and hit a sign.
He reportedly continued to drive on the median toward the bridge over Oak Creek, driving off the bridge and into the embankment below.
LPD said it's unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
Officials said that the road was closed for about five hours during the investigation and cleanup.
