Jefferson County Ambulance director resigns, former director named interim leader

JEFFERSON COUNTY, NE — Mere months after taking the job, an ambulance director in southeast Nebraska is stepping down.

The Jefferson County Commissioners accepted the resignation of Jefferson County Ambulance director Cheyenne Kuehn at their meeting Tuesday.

The board says Kuehn is moving out of state with her husband who recently received a promotion at work.

Kuehn was only in the role for about four months. She interviewed for and was hired for the position in early November. Former county ambulance director Alan Rosenthal will serve in an interim role while the county begins the hiring process.
