LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities said a 30-year-old Community Corrections Center - Lincoln inmate went missing Friday. 

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said that Dakota Parrott left his place of employment Friday morning and removed his electronic monitor near S 48th and Sumner Streets. 

NDCS said that Parrott started his sentence Oct. 29, 2018 after being sentenced 5 to 6 years and 90 days. 

Parrott's charges include use of a firearm to commit a felony and terroristic threats out of Douglas County and driving under a revoked license out of Lancaster County. 

Parrott has a tentative release date of Sept. 20, 2024, and is scheduled for a parole hearing in June of this year. 

Parrott is a 30-year-old white male, is 5'8" and weighs 160 lbs. Parrott has strawberry blond hair and blue eyes. 

Officals ask that anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraka State Patrol.
