CCC-L inmate missing, removed electronic monitor

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities were notified of a inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said CCC-L was notified by the electronic monitoring company that Christopher Foster had tampered with his monitor Wednesday afternoon.
NDCS said the electronic monitor was removed near S. Coddington Ave. and West A St. in Lincoln.
Foster started his sentence Jan. 5, 2021. He was sentenced to four to six years for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person out of Douglas County.
Foster has a tentative release date of Aug. 15, 2023.
Forster is a 36-year-old white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5'11" and weighs 170 lbs.
Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
