BEATRICE - Landowners in the Lower Big Blue Natural Resources District (NRD) may be entitled to cost-share assistance. 

Landowners planning to install terraces, tile outlets, grassed waterways, or other conservation practices will have the opportunity to apply for cost-share assistance from now until March 10, at their local NRCS office. Offices are located in Beatrice, Fairbury, Wilber, and Pawnee City. 

Estimates show the state and NRD cost-share funds total about $180,000 for fiscal year 2022. The maximum cost-share payments this year is $8,000 for all applications.
