FAIRBURY - Eliana Livingston was presented with the Peter R. Marsh Foundation’s Silent Servant Scholarship Award last night at the Fairbury School Board meeting.   With the honor, Eliana received an engraved plaque along with a $500 scholarship.
 
The Silent Servant Scholarship Award is awarded to high school students who display empathy and compassion through engaging in public service in their communities.
 
Eliana Livingston was nominated for this National scholarship by Jen McNally and Sean Roberts, ESU5 Wellness 4ALL Mental Health Team for her role in creating an entire Mental Health Awareness Week for both the high school and middle school.
 
Eliana now heads up a school organization Jeffs Gone M.A.D. (Making A Difference) that has done several projects and volunteer activities over the past couple of years.
