LPD: Four teens arrested, 14-year-old found with Glock

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Police Department said Gang Unit Investigators arrested four teens after identifying a vehicle allegedly connected to a shooting.
LPD said around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the GUI did a follow-up in the 2000 block of N 28th and saw a vehicle, they knew was involved in a previous shooting, pull into a nearby lot.
According to officials, the occupants of the vehicle were contacted, and they reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Authorities said they removed the vehicle's occupants - two 19-year-old females, a 15-year-old female, and a 14-year-old male.
It was reported by LPD a Glock 9mm handgun was located on the seat where the 14-year-old had been sitting.
Officials said after further inspection of the Glock, they found it was loaded and the serials numbers had been defaced.
The 14-year-old was referred and lodged at the Youth Assessment Center for possession of a defaced firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana.
