LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Police Department cited and lodged a man in jail for multiple offenses.

LPD said the Gang Unit Investigators saw 25-year-old Theodore Sachtleben driving a vehicle in the area of 30th and Capital Parkway on Wednesday at 2:15 p.m.

Officers said they knew Sachtleben had a suspended license and asked for help from a marked patrol cruiser and proceeded with a traffic stop.

The report said they detected the smell of marijuana as Sachtleben got out of his vehicle. The officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and found 20.4g of marijuana and a Springfield XD 9mm.

According to authorities, Sachtleben was cited for driving during suspension and possession of marijuana less than an ounce. He was also lodged in jail for carrying a concealed weapon.
