NSP: semi-trailer and Amazon products recovered

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Nebraska State Patrol announced the recovery of a stolen semi-trailer full of packages.
NSP said that the semi-trailer was full of Amazon items during at traffic stop on Interstate 80 that happened Friday near Waverly.
On Friday, NSP said they were notified by a Maryland trucking company that a trailer they had reported stolen in early August was believed to be traveling in Nebraska.
Not too long after receiving the report, a trooper said they located the semi while it was traveling eastbound on I-80 near Waverly.
The trooper said they performed a traffic stop and took the driver and co-driver into custody without incident.
37-year-old Regine Dieudonne and 38-year-old Anne Mascary, both from Florida, were arrested for theft by receiving stolen property over $5,000.
Dieudonne and Mascary were both lodged in Lancaster County jail.
NSP said the truck and its contents are being released to the transport company.
