Two suspects arrested in Lincoln robbery

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Police Department said they arrested two suspects in a robbery on Thursday.
LPD said they were dispatched to a fight in the 600 block of Capital Avenue, and when they arrived, police talked to the 17-year-old victim who said that 25-year-old Hannah Lowe approached her with a knife in each hand and wanted to fight.
Officials said 29-year-old Jermaine Jefferson then walked up, pulled a shotgun from his pants, displayed it and said "let's fight now."
According to authorities, Jefferson then walked away from the group and was concealing the shotgun in his pants, and at this point, the victim began recording Jefferson with her cell phone.
LPD said the victim said Jefferson then wrapped the shotgun in a sweatshirt and gave it to Lowe. He then approached her, grabbed her hands, and struck her with a closed fist.
Officers said she was thrown to the ground and upon getting back up said Jefferson took her wallet and walked away.
According to LPD, Jefferson was arrested for robbery and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. Lowe was cited and released for aid and abetting a robbery. The shotgun was not located, but the wallet was recovered.
