One with life-threatening injuries following pedestrian vs. car accident
The Lincoln Police Department has provided an update on a car vs. pedestrian crash that happened Tuesday night.
LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Police Department has provided an update on a car vs. pedestrian crash that happened Tuesday night.
Authorities said that LPD and Lincoln Fire & Rescue were dispatched to NW 20th and West O Street.
Officials said that when they arrived officers found a 29-year-old female had been struck by a vehicle that was heading eastbound while she was crossing West O Street.
LPD said that the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to LPD, witnesses at the scene reported the vehicle was proceeding through the intersection with a green light.
This is an ongoing investigation.
