LPD arrests teens for $10k in stolen items from vape shop

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities responded to a report of a burglary alarm on Sunday.
Lincoln Police Department said that officers were dispatched to Generation V Smoke Shop, 1501 N Cotner Blvd, for a report of a burglary alarm.
Officials said that responding officers four the front window had been shattered to gain entry.
Authorities said that follow-up work was taking place in the 3000 block of N Street, when a vehicle with three males had arrived.
LPD said that officers saw the arrival of 19-year-old Kaiden Cleary and 18-year-old Jamaul Williams as well as an additional suspect that is 16-years-old.
LPD officials said that items taken from the smoke shop were located in their vehicle.
Cleary and Williams were lodged for burglary, and the 16-year-old male was given a juvenile referral for burglary.
Authorities said that damage to the business was about $1,800, and the various items stolen were listed for about $10,587.
