ADAMS - Freeman is victorious yet again with a subdistrict final win over Johnson County Central. 

On the heels of an upset win over Tri County on Tuesday, JCC came out of the gates with goal of setting the tone, which they did, in the first half, leading 19-18 at the break.

However, Freeman quickly found their groove in the second half, out scoring the Thunderbirds 22-8 in the third quarter. 

Taylan Vetrovsky and Carter Ruse led the way in scoring for Freeman with 18 and 17 respectively. Johnson County Central had to play much of the second half with all five of their starters with four fouls. 

Freeman, the #2 seed, now takes on #15 Oakland-Craig in subdistricts.
