BEATRICE - For Beatrice, it wasn't how they started, but how they finished.

Despite going down 10-1 at the end of the first quarter, and not making their first field goal until ten minutes into the game, the Lady Orange scored a 45-32 win on Monday night to advance past the Crete Cardinals in subdistricts.

Beatrice outscored the Cardinals 19-3 in the fourth quarter, building up a 15-2 run to all but run away the ball game. Beatrice was led in scoring by Chelsea Leners and Addie Hatcliff with 11 each.

The Lady O advance in subdistricts to take on York.
