BEATRICE – Beatrice Police have arrested a man suspected of body-slamming a female companion onto a concrete front porch.

Authorities were sent to a physical disturbance reported in the twelve-hundred block of South 8th, on Saturday.

A witness had reported seeing a male open the front door and body slam the woman out of the front door onto the porch.  The victim later told police she had been choked and slammed onto the living room floor and then thrown outside the home.

Beatrice Police arrested 40-year-old Arthur Ticer on suspicion of felony domestic assault and possession of a deadly weapon during commission of felony.  Police said they located brass knuckles in Ticer’s pocket during a search.

Police said Ticer had also been arrested last November 19th for an alleged domestic assault on the same victim.
