Larry Lee Lange, 64, of Endicott passed away on Friday, September 20th, 2019 surrounded by loving family. Larry was born July 21, 1955 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Dale and Evelyn (Hughes) Lange. Starting his faith young, he was baptized and confirmed at the Endicott United Methodist Church. He attended school in Endicott and Fairbury, graduating in 1973. Throughout high school, Larry participated in intramural basketball, baseball, and wrestling. He also attended Fairbury Junior College for a short period of time. Larry worked at many different places over the years, but spent 32 years at the Vise-Grip manufacturing plant in Dewitt, NE. He also served as mayor for the village of Endicott for several years. He enjoyed many things in his life including Husker football, NASCAR, horseshoes, yardwork, Larry-oke, and working in his garage; but nothing compared to the love he had for his family. He was the proud father of two daughters, Megan and Lacey. In 1999 he married his loving wife Kathy and gained three more daughters, Sarah, Brandi, and Brittany. Larry loved being a father and a husband, but his favorite role was being a grandpa to his eight grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, Bill and Naomi McAtee. He is survived by his wife Kathy of Endicott, daughters Megan Lange (Eric Cain) of Lincoln, Lacey (Reid) Starr of Glidden, Iowa, Sarah (Pete) McGoldrick of Tucson, Arizona, Brandi (Hans) Keim of Omaha, Brittany (BJ) Stanton of Fairbury; grandchildren Donavan and Kyle McGoldrick, Peyton and Parker Starr, Caysen, Connor, and Caleb Stanton, and Eden Keim; sister Lori Lange Fentress; uncle, Merle Lange; and numerous other relatives. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 26th at 10:30am at the United Methodist Church in Endicott. Viewing will be Wednesday, September 25th at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home with family greeting friends from 6:00-8:00pm. Memorials will go to the family’s choice.
