Sherry D. Edwards, 81, of Beatrice, died Thursday morning, November 28, 2024, at her home.  She was born on June 7, 1943, at Havre, MT.  After graduating from Rudyard High School in 1961, and then attended Eastern Montana College in Billings, MT.  She married James Edwards on March 21, 1964, at Rudyard, MT.  While Jim was teaching and coaching in various towns including Sidney and North Platte, she worked at various dress shops.  They moved to Beatrice in 1978 where she was a teacher’s aide.  

Survivors include her husband, James (Jim) Edwards of Beatrice; daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Elliott of Lincoln; brother, Lynn (Esther) Anderson of Rudyard, MT.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Blanche (Poppler) Anderson.

 

At Sherry’s request there will be no services.  A memorial has been established to Cottonwood Hospice in Beatrice.  Cremation has taken place and inurnment of the cremains will be at a later date.  www.foxfuneralhome.net  Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Beatrice is in charge of the arrangements.
