Pauline Emily (Weber) Bartlett, 81 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice. She was born on September 23, 1943 in Beatrice to Harry and Darlene (Kaminska) Weber. Growing up, Pauline helped at her parents’ grocery store and cared for her siblings. She graduated from Beatrice High School in 1961 and then attended Southeast Community College for Accounting. Pauline married Gary Bartlett on May 28, 1961 at St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice. She worked at BSDC for several years and then spent over 35 years in home health at Beatrice Community Hospital and Parkview Center. In 2016, Pauline had a major stroke. Her daughters were so proud of the way she fought to have a good life and relearn a lot of things. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the auxiliaries of the VFW, Legion and Eagle’s. Pauline enjoyed traveling, the mountain states, being a camp host, meeting new people and volunteering. 

Pauline is survived by her daughters, Lori Bartlett and special friend Stephanie Keegan, Mary Lohmeyer and husband Mike, all of Beatrice, Jeanne Ralston and husband Bryan of Gretna; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Lohmeyer and wife Amy, Melissa Merritt and husband Chris, Jack and Kristin Ralston; 4 great grandchildren, Emma and Cole Lohmeyer, Henry and Avery Merritt; brothers-in-law, Russell Garton of Beatrice, Delbert Sokolik of Daykin;  sister-in-law, Sherial Oltman of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary on May 2, 2017; sisters, Harriet Garton, Frannie Sokolik; brothers, Michael Weber, Patrick Weber and wife Marilee; and brothers-in-law, Dick Bartlett and wife Betty, Jim Bartlett and Duane Oltman.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 21, 2024 at St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice with Rev. Dr. Renae Koehler officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held one hour preceding services on Monday at the church.
