Beatrice Rural Fire sent to location north of Beatrice
BEATRICE – Firefighters were sent to a small grass fire along a highway north of Beatrice, Sunday afternoon.
The flare-up, which burned a small area, occurred off the shoulder of southbound U.S. Highway 77, north of the junction with Hickory Road. Beatrice Rural Firefighters were sent there, at around two p.m., Sunday….and left the area after less than half-an-hour.
No significant damage was done.
