Jefferson County Extension Office hosts babysitting class

The Jefferson County Extension office held a babysitting class at Jefferson Community Health and Life Thursday.

FAIRBURY, Neb. -- The Jefferson County Extension Office held a babysitting class at Jefferson Community Health and Life Thursday. 

A total of 12 participants learned many different important areas about babysitting. 

Lisa Edeal, JCH&L Dietitian, taught those in attendance about nutrition and food safety. 

Twila Scheetz, a JCH&L cardiac rehab nurse, taught choking and CPR.

The students also learned about many other aspects of babysitting from extension staff Darci Pesek and Penny Holtmeier.
