FAIRBURY, Neb. -- The Fairbury Adventure Race is returning to the JCH&L Burkley Fitness Center in 2024. 

The race will include bicycling, running, and orienteering using a simple map in a 8-to-12 mile course. The race is set for June 8.

The race will begin at the Burkley Fitness Center and will finish at the Rock Creek Station. It will be a team event that should consist of two or three participants that are required to be 16 years of age or older. Transportation will be available from the Rock Creek Station back to Fitness enter for participants and their bikes. 

The entry fee is $60 per team with registration beginning at 8 a.m. on race day with a pre-race meeting and map distribution beginning at 8:30 a.m. Race will start at 9 a.m.

Required items include a mountain bike, bike helmet, hydration water pack or water bottle. Suggested items from JCH&L is extra bike tubes and pump, sunscreen and bug repellant. 

Participants that register before May 10 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. JCH&L says cash prizes will be available for the top three teams in the event.
