TECUMSEH, NEB. - News Channel Nebraska and Medica's latest winner for the Stretch Across Nebraska campaign is Tecumseh native Julie Saathoff.

Saathoff, a physical therapist at Johnson County Hospital, says she believes its important for Nebraskans to be active and exercise regularly.

"It can help prevent any type of diseases and people aren't always happy sitting down watching TV, when you could be out, being active, watching your kids play ball or something like that."

A resident of Johnson County, Saathoff plans to donate the $500 prize to Johnson County Central Public Schools.

"We decided, being a county hospital, we wanted to touch lives in different areas," Saathoff said. "We have a ton of alums of JCC and wanted to continue to contribute across the county."
