BEATRICE, Neb. - A police department in southeast Nebraska is sharing results from a recent high-visibility enforcement effort.
From July 14-July 31, Beatrice Police added extra patrol to crack down on speeding and dangerous driving. According to Beatrice Police, the four deputies working the enforcement made 74 traffic stops, citing 12 drivers for speeding.
In the month of June, the department recorded 214 traffic stops, with the enforcement showing a slight decrease.
