2026 MUDECAS basketball tournament: broadcast schedule, brackets, results

One of the most iconic sporting events in this part of the state is one of the longest-running high school basketball tournaments in the country, and it returns this January. The 2026 MUDECAS basketball tournament is back in Beatrice! It runs from Monday, January 12 through Saturday, January 17 across two venues, the Beatrice Auditorium and Beatrice Middle School, and longtime Southeast Nebraska radio stations Ol' Red 99.5 and KWBE will be there to provide live broadcasts from every day of the 2026 installment of the tournament, more than 20 games in total, starting with first round games on Monday and Tuesday and ending with the championship games on Friday and Saturday.

News Channel Nebraska will once again join the fray to televise all four bracket championships games on Friday and Saturday night. Check your local listings to see how you can watch NCN on your television, or follow us online.

All games broadcast on Ol' Red will air on 99.5 FM in Nebraska and Kansas and online for free anywhere at olred995.com. All games broadcast on KWBE will air on 94.7 FM/1450 AM in Nebraska and online for free anywhere at kwbe.com. The championship games from all four divisions (Girls A, Girls B, Boys A and Boys B) will all air on both Ol' Red and KWBE.
