Glenda L. Lawson, 75, of Beatrice, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln. She was born on March 1, 1950, in Beatrice to Glenn and Audrey (Templeton) Ault. Glenda grew up in Beatrice and graduated from Beatrice High School. She worked at the Beatrice State Developmental Center for 48 years and will be remembered for her dedication to her work and the residents of BSDC that came into the office. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities, reading, walking, watching Nebraska volleyball and the Game Show Network.

Survivors include her son, Steve (Cecilia) Lawson of Clatonia; daughter, Stephanie (Steve) Buss of Lincoln; grandchildren, Brittany Lawson, Topenga (Austin) Hawks, Coy Rosentreader, Noah, Ty and Carly Buss; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen Shores of St. George, UT, Lorraine (Doug) Deweese of Sparks, NV; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Audrey Ault; special friend, Les Kleman; brother-in-law, Hal Shores; nephew, Todd Shores.

A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club in Beatrice on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
