Glen A. Burenheide, 55, of Adams passed away at his home, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 8, 1970, in West Point to Allen and Geraldine (Brester) Burenheide. Glen graduated from Howells High School in 1989 and then from the University of Nebraska. He was a proud member and Noble Ruler of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. On May 21, 1994, he married Stacy Dostal at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Scribner. Glen worked for Land O’ Lakes as a livestock production specialist for 30 years. He thoroughly enjoyed working with farmers and cattle. Some of his fondest moments were spent casting a line or teeing off at the golf course with family by his side.  Husker football also brought him countless hours of joy and many cherished memories.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Beatrice and the Knights of Columbus.  Glen faced cancer with remarkable strength and grace but had faith in God’s will. He was a wonderful, kind, gentle soul and had an immense impact on so many lives in his brief 55 years. He will continue to live on in family and friends’ hearts, and we will remember everything he taught us.

Glen is survived by his wife, Stacy Burenheide of Adams; son, Dylan (special friend, Mackenzie Healey) Burenheide of Omaha; daughters, Abigail (Mike) Sheets of Dorchester and Morgan (Joseph) Bartu of Milligan; granddaughter, Adaline Sheets; mother, Geraldine Burenheide of Howells; brothers, Ron (Sharon) Burenheide, Gerald (Tina) Burenheide, and Robert Burenheide, all of Howells; sisters, Linda (Dean) Hegemann of Hastings, Lois (Todd) Jedlicka of Schuyler, and Lisa (Kevin) Hegemann of of Howells; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
