Lincoln Southwest's defensive dominance leads to fifth win
NORFOLK - Lincoln Southwest turned great defense into offense Friday, allowing the Silver Hawks to cruise to an easy win on the road, 60-41 over Norfolk.
Southwest opened the game up second quarter, forcing seven Panther turnovers, and building a 23-point halftime lead.
The Silver Hawks lead would stay double figures throughout the second half, despite Norfolk senior heating up from the field, scoring 15 after the break.
The win was Lincoln Southwest's 15th straight against Norfolk, a streak that dates back to 2014.
