BEATRICE – Beatrice Public Schools took time Friday morning to honor some long-time staffers who will be retiring from the district, after decades of service.
They included administrators, teachers and classified staff members…many who have spent an entire career with Beatrice Public Schools.

The recognition event was held at the Beatrice High School Commons Area. School Superintendent Jason Alexander thanked those who have dedicated themselves to serving in the local school system.

"It's that time of year where some of you walking in, have bigger smiles on your faces than others...because you're at that point in your career where you can say, I'm ready to do something different. So, today is our opportunity to thank them and wish them well in whatever that next chapter is, for their life."
