Jacquelyn "Jacquie" J. (Joyce) Richling

Jacquelyn “Jacquie” J. (Joyce) Richling, 81 years of age, of Beatrice passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice. She was born on March 25, 1943 in Beatrice to Richard and Lillian (Sprague) Joyce. Jacquie graduated from Beatrice High School in 1960 and attended Hardin-Simmons University in Texas. She married Joseph Richling on June 11, 1965 in Beatrice. Jacquie was a legal assistant for 30 years at Dalke Smith & Harris Law Firm. After retiring, she owned and operated The Country Peddler in Beatrice and then worked part time in the Gage County Register of Deeds office. Jacquie was an active member of Westside Baptist Church in Beatrice and enjoyed volunteering and helping people, crafting, Lake of the Ozarks, Husker sports, Kansas City Chiefs and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Jacquie is survived by her daughter, Joelle “Joey” Hankins and husband Tom of Beloit, Wisconsin; son, Josh Richling and wife Angie of Omaha; grandchildren, Chase Hankins, Chelsey Hankins, Anna Richling, Samuel Richling; brother, Johnny Joyce of Fort Myers, Florida; and sister, Janet Vitosh and husband Mark of Odell. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Judy Joyce.
