YORK - A top ten match up lived up to the hype in York Tuesday night. The number 8 team in Class C2, Grand Island Central Catholic, outlasted York, the #2 team in Class B, despite giving up a lead late in the fourth.

The Crusaders led the Dukes with under a minute left, but struggled from the free-throw line, allowing York to tie things up and send the game to overtime. GICC dominated the extra period, holding York to just 7 points, and securing a 67-62 victory.

Sophomore Riley Rice led the way for the Crusaders with 23 points, earning Player of the Game honors.
