BEATRICE – The Beatrice area ended with two to three inches of snow Friday after being included in a winter weather advisory. 

Another brief dusting of snow happened late Sunday afternoon.   City street crews were finishing removing ridges of snow piled in the middle of downtown streets, early Monday morning.   

Fog and freezing fog moved in during the early morning hours, as temperatures dropped into the mid to upper 20s.

High temperatures for the week in southeast Nebraska are expected to be in the upper 30s, with mid 20s to near 32 later in the week.
