LINCOLN, NE -- Trevor Pfeifer scored six touchdowns and Humphrey St. Francis won the Class D-2 title with a dominating 70-16 win over Pleasanton.

The Flyers (13-0) capped an undefeated season by owning every phase of the game against the Bulldogs (10-3).  The forced three turnovers on defense and compiled 378 yards of offense.

"I can't wait to be able to point to the banner in the gym that we got to put up and say that we deserved that and got that," Pfeifer said.

This is the Flyers' fifth state championship and first since 2015.
