COLUMBUS, NE -- Aurora's Danica Badura shot -2 on the front nine and finished with a Class B day one-best 72 at Elks Country Club on Monday.

Badura, who was runner-up last year, collected 15 pars on the day.  Her lone blemish was a double-bogey on number 16.  The South Dakota commit says she felt confident all day.

"Everything was kind of clicking," Badura said. "I was just very consistent and everything felt right, especially my driver."

Scottsbluff leads the team standings.  Omaha Duchesne Academy has won the last four Class B titles but sits in fourth place after one day.
