Lloyd M. Ullman, 93, of Beatrice died at the Beatrice Community Hospital Thursday morning, October 3, 2019. He was born on August 15, 1926 in Steinauer and graduated from Steinauer High School. He served in the United States Army from 1950 – 1952 during the Korean Conflict. On April 24, 1956, he married Marjorie Mertes in Table Rock and they lived in Beatrice. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator for 43 years at Dempster’s Manufacturing until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Bitting-Norman Post #27 of the American Legion both of Beatrice.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of Beatrice; daughter, Mary (Randy) Hasenohr of Beatrice; sons, David (Sherri) Ullman and Ken Ullman all of Beatrice and Dennis (Cara) Ullman of Lincoln; six grandchildren, Bryce (Erica) Hasenohr, Troy Ullman, Carrie Ullman, Tyler Hasenohr, Olivia Ullman, and Natalie Ullman; two great-grandchildren, Max and Emersyn Hasenohr; three sisters, Regina Schwarz, Opal Powell, and Betty (Larry) Pientka; brother, Hoots (Connie) Ullman; sister-in-law, Darlene Cortez; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Gertrude (Klein) Ullman, sister, Agatha Coudeyras, and brother, Sylvester Ullman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, October 7, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Robert Barnhill, Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery of Beatrice with military graveside honors conducted by Bitting-Norman Post #27 of the American Legion of Beatrice and the U.S. Army Honor Guard. A Scriptural Rosary service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the family’s choice. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home from noon Saturday until 8:00 P.M.
