YORK – Orval Stahr, a former mayor of York, former York County Commissioner and former zoning administrator for York County, has died.

Stahr was the mayor of York from January, 2017, through February, 2018.

Professionally, he worked as a municipal and county planner, and was a development consultant working with municipalities. During his 48-year career, he worked with over 150 municipalities and counties in seven states, he said during earlier interviews.
