Harvey E. Cramer

Harvey E. Cramer, 89, of Beatrice, passed away Sunday morning, November 2, 2025, at the Beatrice Good Samaritan Center. He was born on November 17, 1935, in Beatrice to Eilert and Emma (Meints) Cramer. Harvey attended school in Blue Springs and Holmesville and served in the National Guard transitioning into the Army Reserves from 1953 until 1961. On November 6, 1960, he married Barbara Busing at Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice. Over the years he was a natural farmer but also had other part-time jobs such as welder and telephone lineman. Harvey was a member of Emmanual Lutheran Church of rural Beatrice.
Survivors include his wife. Barbara Cramer of Beatrice; son, Lee (Tina) Cramer of Beatrice; granddaughters, Danielle (Seth) Wilson-Ambrose and Amanda (Jerret) Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Lexi, Charles, Hadley, Mariah, Ryan, and Zeke; step-grandchildren, Jessica Lacy, Anthony Peck, Cody Peck, Amber (Steve) Myer, and Mikala (Stephen) McEvers; nieces, Cindy Inness and Pamela (Dr. Jason) Bespeclec; cousins, Alnora Daubendick, Alvera Baete, Wayne (Laurie) Wallman, Don (Cheryl) Meints, Diane Church, Joseph Meints, Richard Meints, Mary Jo Neuman, Carol Morris, Ron Meints, and Janet (Billy) Harms. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eilert and Emma Cramer; great-granddaughter, Addison Wilson; parents-in-law, Buford and Beulah Busing; grandparents, Dirk and Almuth Cramer, and Chris and Katie Meints, aunts and uncles, Alfred (Abbie) Linsenmeyer, Gertrude (Edward) Parde, Elmer (Mary Ellen) Meints, Henry Meints, John and Meta Wallman, Emil and Margaret Wallman; cousins, Harlan Meints, Sandra Plymale, David Parde, Margerie Dorn, Ruth Buss, Edward Daubendick, Roland Dorn, Steve Newman, and Victor Baete.
