Chad C. Sell, 40, of Beatrice passed away from natural causes on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at his home.  He was born on April 28, 1985, in Lincoln and was baptized at Centenary United Methodist Church of Beatrice.  Chad graduated from Beatrice High School in 2004.  He loved sports, enjoyed doing yardwork and reading, and going to Chautauqua Park.  Chad was a very private person with a good heart.  

Chad is survived by his mother, Carolyn Sell of Beatrice; brother, Douglas Sell of Beatrice; sister, Kim Breeden of Lincoln; niece and nephew, Hayley and Jeremy Breeden of Lincoln; aunts, Kay (Rich) Palasz of Bella Vista, AR and Kay Sell of Lincoln; several cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Sell, who died on March 13, 2020; grandparents, Cecil and Ona Sell, and Arthur and Anna Achtemeier; step-grandmother, Evelyn Achtemeier; aunts, Arlene (Donald) Geer, Anita Oglesby-Love, Queva (Clyde) Aeschliman, and LaVeta (Arnold) Schank; uncles, Bruce Achtemeier, Robert (Ora) Sell, and Victor Sell.

Private graveside services with immediate family and burial will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice with Rev. Dr. Paixao Baptista officiating. A book for signatures will be available on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from noon until 8:00 P.M.  The casket will be closed.  A memorial has been established to the family for future designation. www.foxfuneralhome.net  Arrangements entrusted to Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Beatrice.
